Culpeper Republicans are pretty upset about our rally. Thoughts and prayers.

There were 400-500 estimated in Culpeper, a red county in Virginia. 90% positive but there were some very nasty interactions from cult members that were met with pleasantries. No violence, no vandalism.

Congratulations to those who organized yesterday's Culpeper Hands Off! demonstrations and the hundreds of citizens who showed up from across the Piedmont! So many came so fast that we couldn't register everyone. Our friends across the street tried a counter demo, but no one showed. A small victory.

Culpeper showed up today. To say it was a breath of fresh air since inauguration is an understatement.

Where is the press!? The Post carried a piece on pA5 today, "Democrats are struggling to resurrect their first term resistance." Was the entire staff asleep yesterday? Were they all out in the demonstration and forgot their notebooks? I saw a LOT of resistance in Culpeper.

We lost count, but easily 400-500 democracy loving Americans on the ground in Culpeper. Thank everyone who showed up, this was an amazing experience that far exceeded what we expected.

So it begins. Our message to Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and this entire extremist MAGA Administration: take your hands off our democracy, our country, our rights, our freedoms, our wallets, our neighbors, our friends, OUR FUTURE!
