I have been fighting with "Dev Containers" all morning. Conceptually, really solid love it. However, I fail to understand why we needed ANOTHER abstraction layer on this. Why do I need a JSON definition just to match some MS-made spec? Why can't I just... use a Dockerfile to define my environment?
