I was gonna do a hate watch of the usmnt match tonight but what better way to rage against the machine, so to speak, than to just not watch it at all?

I think Trump coming out and openly claiming credit has turned this from the red card scandal to a larger existential issue for FIFA and Infantino. I don’t think UEFA is going to let this go.

THREE extremely unethical situations at the World Cup require more football stakeholders to challenge wrongs. 1. Banishment of the Somali referee 2. Balogun red card political interference 3. Treatment of Iran team Players/managers/officials/administrators. Pressure on FIFA should be unrelenting.

I’m so proud to be Mexican. Every day. I’m proud that the world got to see the Mexico I’ve seen my whole life. I’m proud that we took the game to one of the favorites for 90 minutes. It’s hard to have my literal entire family in Mexico. I wish I could have been there for these matches.
