I'm really enjoying Green Teeth by Molly O'Neill. It's a very fun story of a lake monster, a witch, and a hob-goblin as they complete quest after quest to reach their ultimate goal of defeating a great evil. Packed with British folklore and mythology, it stands above many other such retellings.

As a Detroit Lions fan, I love the outcome of SNF. My two least favorite teams... The Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys throwing 40 pts against each other. To end it in OT in a tie. And yet, it's been well over 12 hours and not a single player from either team has kissed their sister.

If you are looking for a good book series full of murder, evil, shape shifters, and LOL comedy, I recommend the Honey Badger Chronicles by Shelly Laurenston. I have read thousands of books and I have never laughed so hard while reading these. Oh, and the plot line is good too.

I woke up at 7am to my neighbor's daughters screaming with joy in a ridiculous inflatable jungle gym. At first, I was annoyed. Now... over 3 hours later, I'm laughing hard. How an inflatable jungle gym can entertain children for so long...it's beyond me. But it is cute.
