I don't know how to process the fact that Britt Alcroft died. I've never spoken to her face-to-face at all but I grew up with her my whole life. Seeing her in interviews talking about why her show was so essential completely resonated with me. She was a hero, in every sense of the word.

Britt Allcroft was truly one of a kind. When I was 12, she gave me a chance to be part of something that millions of children — as well as adults — love. Warm-hearted, funny, and kind, the English grandmother I never had. May her memory be a blessing. ❤️
