#Typhoon DANAS made an unexpected landfall on W coast of Taiwan. It's a bit of a surprise—both in terms of track & intensity. Surface observations suggest it came in hot. It looked great on radar. This is 2nd typhoon landfall on W coast of Taiwan (side that usually gets less action) in last year.
