Roger Allers, what a career. An incredibly versatile animation figure who helped shape plenty of noteworthy features, especially if it had lions. Allers is now up in the stars where the great kings of the past reside. A legend we'll surely miss, but a legacy we won't forget.

I just saw that Roger Allers passed away at the age of 76 and I'm devastated. Roger was one of the most important people behind the Disney Renaissance at Disney Animation which included storyboarding a lot of films and co-directing The Lion King. What an incredible legacy.
