What a fantastic time at @fwfilmfestival.bsky.social! My 'lecture' (some silly observations with even sillier clips) on Jawsploitation seemed to go down well, and I got to meet the incredible @galeannehurd.bsky.social. All the applause to Ti Singh for putting on such a great event!

Also at the fest, bumped into a wild, excellently fashioned @badmoviebible.bsky.social and some Colonial Marines who had our backs.

I'm looking to do something on silly movie monsters of the 1980s. Any suggestions? There must be a lot of niche horror I don't know about. Bad puppets, lame prosthetics, misguided masks and so on. Can be from any kind of movie, not just Don Dohler's!
