@bsky.app is there a reason why you are using 300mb as the notified limit for uploading, but refusing a 284mb video? Is it because you're using 300,000,000 bytes for 300mb? FYI, 300mb is not 300,000,000 bytes. Can you fix this? It's been like this for every size you have limited to.

Really enjoyed Toy Story 5. They did a good job reconnecting and separating the characters. The story itself is really interesting. Many people don't seem to recognize it's not anti-tech, it's pro-play and in the end (in the movie too), that also involves tech.

The reason I have been developing 5 games at once is because it's the only way for me to be productive 'all the time'. Each evening I will try to work on whatever my brain allows me to. Then some? No, you're going to sit there, feel sad for no reason, and beat yourself up for not being productive.

I run my systems with metered connection turned on, I’ve set everything I can to manual, but I run my daughter to speech therapy (10 minutes) and my system has restarted during that time because Microsoft say so. I’m so close to being done with Windows.

Sometimes follow the pace car, sometimes the leader, sometimes the leader is pitting and we don't know who the leader is when they exit the pits, we slot into pacing order when cars exit pits. I can't imagine someone trying to do something like this as a programmer who isn't a racing fan. #gamedev

So I'm thinking this will be about the scale by default with an overhead view like this following selected car, but there's no reason I can't do chase and onboard cameras. The 3D will be low poly, obviously, with me trying to make the gameplay and simulation what really matters most.

I went to bed for a couple of months leaving my Amiga on while the intro for Frontier Elite 2 looped over and over from a cover disk. Took a while to be able to afford the game, but the excitement and anticipation I felt watching that was unreal. It’s part of why I put a benchmarking util in my game

Rooke #gamedev tip of the day is to limit framerate on menus. I was getting some coil whine from the GPU on menus because they were running unrestricted. i only noticed when i added a vsync option to the menu and it went away when I turned that on.
