Going back to my last post here... I can see why Apple dumped their G5 CPUs and switched to Intel. With NR2003 the FPS is better on an Intel Mac running a PowerPC binary through Rosetta translation than it EVER ran on a PowerPC, even the fastest G5 they ever made. How much better? 40-50% better.

Picked up a couple of Power Mac G5s today that I saw on Facebook Marketplace. Seller only posted pics of the Dual Core model so I assumed that's what they both were. Turns out there was also a Quad core, the fastest Power PC Apple ever produced. It even has liquid cooling.
