This feels like a really nice overview about how to think about Livewire.

I find people can struggle coming to Livewire from Inertia/Vue. See my responses to @marty.friedel.au below on why I think that is. TL;DR - Livewire components don't work the same way as you'd expect. And also Inertia/Vue might just suit you better, so it's great Inertia and Livewire both exist!

This is a great - and quick - intro to using Verbs and how you might reason about the differences between a “traditional” and event-sourced approach

Laravel VS Code extension ships Monday in public beta. ✨

I recently gave some talks on Verbs and in both of them I talk about the power of using Replays to build new features, etc. @cmorrell.com has created a great video that simply shows the power of Event Sourcing and how you can use Replays to add new features. Highly recommend checking it out!

This is a poorly-documented feature in Verbs that comes up from time-to-time. If you want to translate Verbs event validation into Laravel form validation, you can use the `onError` method. This lets you translate an exception thrown in `validate()` into Laravel form validation messages.

I read an article similar to this a few years ago. I’ve since followed the rule, for future events store wall time and past events store UTC.

Also, if you add your bsky social to GitHub, my labeler will pick that up: bsky.app/profile/labe... Right now it’s only labeling Laravel contributors, and isn’t 100% working due to some gh api restrictions, but over time I want to label many other open source projects.
