I usually call A'lathei Lathei, but otherwise yes. If I use their canonical nicknames, it's because someone who knows that nickname is calling them that. (Little Ala Mhigo residents / Altheia's parents = Allie. Everyone else calls her Theia. Mydia is Midii to Altheia/A'lathei)

For Mydia, yes, for A'lathei and Altheia, no. The racial starting gear for A'lathei and Altheia are just random outfits that are mildly popular that year. For Mydia, the viera starting gear is Dalmascan made, so it is made with viera feet in mind.

Mydia's return destination is Ishgard because it's home to her now. Altheia and A'lathei have Little Ala Mhigo and Camp Drybone as reduced cost points so they can get home faster, but their return points are the city-state hubs for work purposes.

For Mydia- during her time in the jungle, money wasn't a thing that existed. Goods and services were bartered, traded or organically acquired. Since Viera settlements rarely interact with each other on a regular basis, the concept of money was nonexistent until she came to Dalmasca.
