At a red light. Truck driver across the intersection decides to treat it like a stop sign, creeps forward then runs it. Driver in front of us decides "oh, guess we're doing this!" and runs it too, bizarrely throwing up their arms in exasperation as they choose to break the law.

At a stop light next to an oversized truck, the hood was nearly as tall as our entire Kia Niro. How is this legal for just anyone to drive.

Sound Transit is in a tough spot. That said, there is a way to deliver long-awaited projects like Tacoma Dome Link Extension without additional delay. Pierce County residents have waited enough, and we deserve our turn. Tough decisions ahead must prioritize completing the spine.

Watched an eccentricly dressed older woman use her cane to investigate a pair of tights left on a bus stop bench, debate whether or not to sit, and then ultimately make her way down the street, swinging her cane at tree branches. Fascinating.

I love biking!!! It's so fun and joyful and human!!! Biking home from Tacoma Pride, I had a bunch of balloons on my front rack and it was a huge hit with every biker and pedestrian we saw. A wonderful ride in the sun with my spouse after a wonderful day with our wonderful queer community 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

People often ask me "you biked in those shoes!?" but that's partially the point for me. I intentionally want to be a midsize woman in cute clothes or fancy clothes, short skirts, high heels, cute helmet, colorful ebike, etc, bcuz I really think it helps other people consider biking. AND IT'S CUTE.
