Saturday's good things included The soft richness of the yolk of a perfectly poached egg, balanced with the neutrality of the egg white, & the crispness of toast. A rare but a valued treat. Tho' this only works with free range eggs, butter, and brown toast. #mentalhealth #countingblessings

Monday, so back to work. Found some rather lovely photos of my previous cat. I miss him, but am so glad we shared 17 years.

The most joy on Sunday was getting a MAGA to delete their boastful comments on a FB post, rather than admit they are the arsehole, & were in the wrong. Such masculinity. Such fragility. So much doubling down. Such pig-headed stupidity. So impossible to respect. Wish I'd taken screenshots tho.

On another topic, I watched #KingCharles Christmas speech, & had NO IDEA what he was talking about. 😐 So I read it. And I STILL have no idea what thoughts he was trying to convey.🤔 So now I am curious whether his mother's speeches were more coherent, or whether she just delivered them better. 1/2
