Hexham Pride condemns The Labour Party for putting forward guidance that explicitly breaches s.149 of the Equality Act 2010. This is yet another example of the transphobic campaign being waged against transgender people in the UK by politicians who lack a backbone to stand up to hate.

On Christmas Day we attempted to post some well wishes. Today we attempted to post Happy New Year. But on both occasions, FB and Instagram algorithms fed us with anti-LGBT+ hate and the British press never once let up, even publishing online disinformation aimed to encourage hate on Christmas Day.
