If Trump gets the shutdown he WANTS, he can permanently furlough all civilians. He risks defense contracts for a while but he still has plenty of military people to execute a war if he wants to. Military work without pay during a government shutdown. Schumer is preventing martial law.

This is how I feel. I do not have cancer but I make a lot of sacrifices to ensure the mission gets done. That includes ensuring our troops in combat have the information they need to stay alive. But it takes toll. And after -41 years, it hurts that so many Americans don’t give a shit.
