Amidst the media furore it's worth just chilling out & remembering that these were local elections, & we've seen it all before. The newly elected Green & Reform councillors have a long way to go to prove their credibility, and the next GE isn't for another 3 years.

Brits should keep Starmer. They could end up with a barking mad lunatic like we have in America. We got Trump because of an oligarch fueled propaganda machine and too many voters who are incapable of the critical thinking skills needed to vote for their own best interests.

What does it say about the UK electorate that they seem to want Reform to run their country? Is it just the wealthy voting for them, who don't have to worry about the NHS, the Brexiteers or the angry racists. Or is it the media hiding all the progress on all these issues already made by the govt 🤔

I'm not a fan of arresting little old ladies, but the actions those of Palestine Action members found guilty of criminal damage & bodily harm have led to their group being proscribed. No one wants to stop peaceful, democratic protest, but if you support PA, not just a cause, then you invite it 🤷

When radio became popular, people worried children would sit around listening to it instead of playing outside. The same happened with TV, the internet and smartphones. But none of those stop children playing outside. Only cars do that.

While it's obvious that voting Reform is a big mistake, people also need to take a look at the Greens & realise that they are equally as undependable. If you need to vote tactically in your area, then go ahead. But neither of these parties is ultimately capable of forming a govt.

Reform is a racist party. Voting Reform is a racist act. We must not shy away from calling this out. They don’t get to hide behind “legitimate concerns” and feel sorry for themselves. Their hatred and inadequacy has made them very ugly indeed.

Two stories unreported by our media, a good news story about the Government, and a post by Zia Yusuf which will disgust all decent people. Don't tell me the media isn't hostile to this Government and a cheer leader for Reform.
