Alien earth would have been a good story without the Aliens. I felt like they didn't really do much with them in the end. The synthetics, cyborgs and artificial people was a lot more interesting IMO.

It's been a while, but I am very close to finishing the ZX Mechtrum +D case. The last part was to make a custom FDD cable and power from the ZX MAX +D so it only needs a single PSU. Then print all parts in the same colour at a good quality for the person that requested it. #zxspectrum #3dprinting

Decided to do some PC upgrades starting with the BIOS ready for a new Ryzen CPU. Bios flashing went well, but then windows kept looping trying to fix boot errors. Eventually I found M.2 was not the boot drive and it was trying to boot from an older drive with a win10 boot manager. phew !

I decided to spend some time with Fusion 360 this afternoon and I had a Nema 17 on the desk so that was my goal. It was easy enough using a single sketch and then using sketch offsets and projection to make the bodies.

I have a KS2 so decided to get the updated KS3 board and can make a mechtrum for the KS2 board at some point. I wasn't going to until I saw you can make 3 payments.
