Beaten PsiloSybil. Not with 100%, mind you. I decided I don't want to. I respect a lot what has been done with this game. Dev's last big log before 1.0 release says "PsiloSybil is an experiment in game design, in how small can we make a grammar in which truly devilish sentences can still be formed"

I have also beaten Half-Life 1 after like, what, 27 years? I surprisingly blazed through Xen, even when I was expecting the worst. Interloper is still not a good episode.

Oh yeah. What I have beaten this weekend. Right. I played through the Cursed Trilogy. Really good! Gets better with each sequel, even if I dig 2 the most. 3 goes to very unexpected places gameplay wise. I understand that a remake of the first one is coming eventually, so I'm looking forward to that

Cultic Chapter 2: incredible! New environments are pretty cool. Extreme difficulty really puts you through the grinder (until you start getting better equipment and remember how to play the game at least). And it still feels amazing to jump kick while popping heads with buckshot/magnum shells.

Just beaten Vestiges of Grandeur, the new campaign for Hexen. Base game was already very pretty, and I can say they knew how to do that and more. This shit is gorgeous. Gameplay-wise I like how they made a tighter, more intense campaign. I would like less slaughtaurs tho thank you very much.

I did hear that Heretic got like, a full revamp of how the levels look and play, so I might have to do a full campaign.

I did play a little of the new Hexen expansion and what can I say. I do love me a parry mechanic. The Serpent staff's melee attack has more frames than I remember!

Today I beat the new episode of Heretic, Faith Renewed. Man. That Secret Level is a bit too much. But I like the new enemies and weapon rebalances! The firemace is a lot more fun to use now. Hellstaff's homing properties are nice but I feel like I keep hitting walls more often than not lol

This weekend I played... Awaria! From vanripper. Y'know, the guy that made Helltaker. Pretty fun, if simple, game. Hard mode seemed like a pain in my first normal mode playthrough, but after getting to it it wasn't that bad: it took a long time, yes, but once you get in The Zone it's doable.

Finished Mega Man XTREEEEEEEEEME just now. It's very impressive they managed to put Mega Man X on a game boy color game. But outside of the wow factor I think it plays worse. Very strange balancing decisions. And while unlockable difficulties are cool I feel like Extreme is just a waste of time.

I got pleasantly surprised with Mega Man: The Wily Wars. Meaning I didn't know there was an extra game after beating the 3 original games! It's always pretty fun when compilations tell you "ok, now go nuts and choose your own loadout and tackle these levels however you want"
