Another Asian market food review. I was excited for this one since Sinigang is my favorite Filipino dish. Supposed to taste like tamarind, but it didn’t. I tried to like it. I’d eat it on a cold day if that’s all that was in the pantry. Rating 3 out of 20.

I’m not any more canned meat reviews for a while because I gained 5 pounds, but I saw these at the Asian market yesterday & thought I’d give them a try. I can’t describe the flavor, a little , spices but didn’t take like pepperoni pizza. Rating: 3 out of 10.

Last weekend I gave my wife more reason to think my brain isn’t working like it should. When I got to my second march last Saturday, I couldn’t find my water bottle. I thought maybe I left it at home. I never found, but my wife noticed it at the bottom of my windshield as we were driving on Sunday.

In the latest installment of the canned meat reviews, Pinoy Select was paired up with a before and mushroom omelette. It had similar composition to the Pure Food brand, but it was saltier and had less flavor. It also didn’t fill up the can like Spam or Pure Foods. I can only give it a 6.5 rating.

Sadly, I’m burdened with a good conscience. Today we went shopping at REI then to lunch. I was looking at my REI receipt at lunch & noticed they didn’t charge me for the small YETI cooler I bought. As much as I would’ve liked a free cooler, I just couldn’t, so I walked back and paid for it.

SQUIRRELS ARE BAD ASS. There’s a pair of Cooper’s Hawks marauding this morning. One landed in my hedge about 5’ off the ground. Out of no where a tree squirrel comes running and launches himself at the hawk, scaring it off.
