that the leading democrats would rather have president trump than president sanders (for instance) is obvious. also true is they would rather have dictator-for-life trump than have to give up any of their power in the party to anyone under 60

Should Democrats move to the right? Absolutely not. That's morally wrong and bad politics. The real lesson of 2024 is that Democrats must become an anti-establishment party ready to shake up the system on behalf of working people.
