I started streaming just over four years ago, with no real background or previous following. Now I currently stream to between 10 and 20 people almost every day. And you know what? That's pretty freaking cool.

Emiru, who was assaulted at her meet and greet at Twitchcon, has responded. The statement makes clear that she feels Twitch security and staff did nothing before, during, or after, and that only through her team's own action was anything done.

God damn it Emiru's statement about the incident last night is just heartbreaking. Twitch has a lot to answer for, and I encourage everyone to read her statement (it's probably on Reddit already if you don't want to go on the other site).

Emiru cannot seem to catch a break. How on earth was this allowed to happen? Twitch owes her a huge apology, especially since she came back out afterwards to continue the meet and greet. I hope she's alright.
