As someone who's been on both sides (fmr migrant in the UK & fmr 🇦🇺 Migration Officer), the entire anti-immigration movement (that ironically washes across borders) is destroying my soul. There are so few now who confidently defend welcoming, open-minded, multicultural societies. They are my people.

Anyone who really knows migrants knows this. We know how hard it is to move to another country, and how much commitment and heartache it takes.
