5/5 I'll be reposting art from noteworthy creators as I see them. Some Fursonas are black-coded with dark coloring and dreadlocks. Others may come as a surprise and don't represent their owner's race. But either way, I believe Furry diversity needs active, not passive celebration.

4/5 Some Furries celebrate Black History month sharing their favorite Black creators and artists. Many Furries share photos of themselves next to their Fursonas. There are many Black artists who deserve honorable mention. But trolls seek to eradicate positive representation of minorities.

this is an uncomfortable topic because it touches on multiple radioactive unquestionable taboos. but it must be said: every kink can be explored ethically. yes, even that one. it is, however, impossible to ethically teach someone to be terrified of their own desires & to judge the desires of others.

I would - quite fucking honestly - rather see you "badly" draw your fursona in MS Paint than see you use generative AI. Not only is it way more endearing to me personally, but it shows that you value the process of creating art and it means you're not supporting a tool of fascism.

I understand that not having a fursona, model sheet, stickers or custom profile pic feels like you're missing out but please don't use AI. It hurts your rep way more than not having them. You're saying a big ol' "fuck you" to your artist friends too.

On that note, 2026 has been off to a rough start. In the span of January I had to housesit and dogsit for my girlfriend's aunt for just shy of two weeks while she was recovering in hospital, then my mam got diagnosed with early stage emphysema and ended up in A&E for something entirely separate.
