After a not so great day, there’s nothing better than going to an event where I get a wtf peg? from @chuckwendig.bsky.social because I admitted to never reading @delilahsdawson.bsky.social before! But, I did read House of Idyll and it was in a word AMAZING! Such a great conversation!

I am destined to work in retail the rest of my life. I should’ve finished getting my bachelors, should’ve never stayed home with my kids. How was I to know suddenly the rug would’ve been pulled out from under me at 54 and now I’m unemployable at my age and not enough experience. It’s looking bleak.

@delilahsdawson.bsky.social really knows how to paint a picture with her words. Her descriptions are so vivid I can see everything in specific detail. Any book that combines horror and music is right up my alley. House of Idyll was pure perfection, utterly enjoyable, and super creepy!
