That moment when you figure out a piece of code in a small game you're making that's actually way better and more efficient than the monster code you put in a bigger game because you didn't know what you were doing.

Fun gamedev thing: Made new brick types when making an Atari Breakout clone. Yellow bricks will temporarily make your ball slower. Blue bricks will double your ball size (not stackable), and grey metal bricks have a health system, and need to be hit multiple times to break.
