Enjoyed reading a new novel from one of my favorite authors, FX Holden: "World War H: A Future War Novel". While I find Mr. Holden's writing entertaining and gripping, this work has a strong streak of non-fiction in it: We are already in the early stages of such a hybrid war like the one in the book

The bottom 90% lost a collective $79 trillion in wages over the past 50 years. Why? Because the top 1% ate up an increasingly larger share of the national income — so that $79 trillion flowed to them instead of the working class. The greatest trick of all is trickle-down economics.

All decent Americans must resist the criminal regime in the White House. Do it for patriotism, or do it because it's getting worse and everyone you love will suffer. You can try to avoid politics, but politics will not avoid you.

Tonight was a very bad night.

Today is #CarlSaganDay. Carl Sagan Day is celebrated on  November 9 each year to honor the life and contributions of the  renowned astronomer and science communicator.

Walmart, McDonalds and Amazon are the largest employers of people who require SNAP assistance. The CEOs earned between 18-40 million last year, 1000x their median employee income. They took billions in profits, while their workers relied on SNAP to survive. Wanna fix fraud and abuse? Fix that.

Just watched "A House of Dynamite"; I noticed how many government agencies shown in the film would be essentially inoperative today in such a scenario under our current administration. But then again, that's why nobody needs to attack us with an ICBM now; we've already done all of the hard work.
