This is correct. Mitch McConnell and John Roberts are, between them, the two public officials most responsible for what has happened to democratic governance. (Roger Ailes, Leonard Leo, Rupert Murdoch, the brothers Koch, etc on Mt. Rushmore, but not as public officials. Comey in here somewhere.)
