I've worked in climate mitigation scenarios for a year. I don't understand how can I be a functioning human knowing how extremely hard is to reach carbon budgets. And even more impossible with the current everyday reality, policies and public opinion. I must be completely dissociated.

Energy modelling often prioritizes cost minimization, yet future cost projections are inherently uncertain. More importantly, this unidimensional approach fails to capture real-world decision-making, with diverse stakeholders, priorities and values.

Shouldn't we limit publication of papers to a maximum of 25 or something per year and person? A reasonable involvement in a paper could entail attending to a couple of meetings, reading the paper, giving comments like 4 times at least for the review. For each paper, the person should be reviewing 2.

Estoy de vacaciones pero con una lectura poco veraniega y algo relacionada con el trabajo: Potosí, de Ander Izagirre. Deberíamos asegurar las condiciones de vida y de trabajo de las personas que trabajan en profesiones tan duras y necesarias como la minería.

El foco debería estar en erradicar el tabaco pero viendo que es una idea muy lejana, deberíamos todos ser conscientes de que las colillas son residuos que pueden generar incendios y contienen plásticos, no se pueden ir tirando por ahí.

Muchos hombres que escriben sobre la necesidad de descanso y ocio obvian que nuestra existencia requiere trabajo reproductivo constante, más intensivo cuando somos pequeños y mayores. Mi descanso requiere del trabajo de otros para cocinar, limpiar, etc. o sino no es descanso total.

Fa temps que penso en el concepte de 'privilegi' i com s'utilitza molts cops com a arma i com a invalidació de la opinió de persones. No puc fer una anàlisi molt profunda sobre el tema però crec que no hauriem de parlar de 'privilegi' per aspectes que haurien de ser un dret bàsic.
