I had garden work plans but it is just too hot to be out thete doing anything. I washed 2 of Tempie’s 3 car covers (3rd is the car) (incase you were wondering) (I hose them outside as they are too big for the washing machine) (anyway, I digress) and now I’m back in the house, melting on the sofa.

No walk for Tempie today, well, not until late tonight. It was already 21°C in the garden shade at 8 am, and now 28 at 9.40. 🥵

My new soundtrack obsession is from Devil May Cry S2. Although I rewatched S1 before watching S2, I can’t say I took too much notice of the bg music, but S2 I very much did. Could be due to the music sometimes being quite loud over the talking, but still great songs.

Day off work today as car is in garage, Tempie isn’t allowed in the courtesy car so I spent the morning running a few errands. Seems picking up a Calibarn was one of those errands.

We weren’t out even 15 mins and were soaked. Luckily we were back home, although out in the garden so Tempie could roll on a towel, when the very loud thunder hit. Typically, as is Welsh weather fashion, it is now sunny and not raining. 🤷

I’ve been having a break from One Piece anime and rewatching S2 of the live action. Bearing in mind I’ve watched Chopper’s story twice in anime (Jap & Eng), and the LA version, Ep. 7 LA is hitting even harder a 2nd time as I’m taking in more of his facial expressions. Then there’s the tear he >>

As I said, I didn’t buy anything exciting out shopping (was tempted by the BotW Urbosa statue in B&M, to go with my Zelda, Link, and Revali ones) but look at the cute dog theme shopping bag I picked up in Tesco. I believe his name is Curtis as the receipt description says Spring Curtis.

First results finally in for Casnewydd Islwyn.

The shed had removed last week, I decided to leave the floor of it in place for now because the ground underneath was too much to deal with. So I got the cheapest paint to give it a bit of protection and decided it was the ideal spot to move the plant pots off my deck, so I can clean up the deck.

When I was told that I needed a dig out to change the 45 yr old original brass tap to accommodate the new water meter, I wasn’t expecting the new fitting to be so big! 👀

Returning several mail shots to a political party, at their cost, with messages written in Welsh telling them to take their hateful rhetoric away with them and not a chance in hell, may be petty & childish, but it takes the edge off the hate I feel at just seeing their leaflets through my door. 😅

There were 8 mice. 1 escaped, 2 sadly didn’t make it (they got caught in a pile of wood before the guys realised they were there) and six are hopefully making new homes in the woods opposite my house.

Have a couple of guys at the house, emptying and dismantling a shed. They were jump scared by mice nesting in there so I’ve been out there catching & releasing them into the woods. 😅

The castle was due a visit as Tempie hadn’t been to check over her domain in a while.
