Since tomatoes are gonna be expensive as hell this year we made an executive decision to scrap one of our flower gardens and plant more tomatoes All these guys were volunteers that came from the compost I started in 2025 and laid down this spring. There are actually some in my compost right now 😅

Now that we're on the other side of the cold snap, here are my tomatoes. Definitely some damage done but I think they will all make it I grew all tomatoes from seed starting on Jan 1st so I was playing with house money and have 5 more in various stages of development, with one ready to plant today

Now that I'm finished partying in Savannah and this cold snap has ended, it's time to plant some herbs Main raised bed veggie garden will not come online until the end of March because of careful negotiations

Making some progress on my compost! Probably will need a final layer of leaves on the in progress pile and then a good flip. I'm too lazy to arrange it all preemptively so veggies just all go on top Just keep on keepin on with the mostly finished pile and then we'll sift it in the Spring
