Chip update! Hes doing incredible, eating well and living life like he didn't just have a major invasive surgery! Unfortunately his cancer is very aggressive so he will need chemo. But im optimistic as cats in better condition dont always bounce back as well as he has. Chip is strong and resilient!

Yesterday Chippy had a successful surgery to remove the cancerous mass in his intestines. While we still have a ways to go with healing and further treatment, surgery was the riskiest part and the boy did AWESOME. Now just waiting to get the call that he's clear to come home! Chip said fuck cancer!

I.... am speechless. Chip was doing so well the past few days that it felt impossible for him to be so sick. So we took his numbers and... they're great. I talked to a vet and they agreed we can wait. I dont know how much more time we're gonna get, but we WILL get more time. Chip said fuck cancer!!!

Absolutely so thankful I have this to still listen to his voice. An incredible man, who always took care of his family. He believed in me and was proud of me in a way that only he could and that I needed. I love you and I miss you, grandpa.

Ive been quiet. It's been a lot. I lost my grandfather in December. Then I lost my baby, Gizmodo Dragon a month ago. And now Ive been hit with the news that Chip has untreatable cancer so we will be saying goodbye for his own comfort on Monday. All while on a mental health leave. Life is hard.
