Time for a new thread- 2026 game #1: and Roger We often assign meaning to firsts. And I wanted my 1st game of 2026 to mean something and Roger was high on my radar in 2025, but I turned away bc I knew it’d be hard to handle. But I’m glad I faced it today. Beautiful game, personal story below 👇

There are some beautiful scenes in this movie, I just wish some of the sci-fi story beats were explained better than leaving it to the audience imagination. I found the first act to feel more like a romantic comedy, while the second and third acts felt more serious to the overall story. 8.5/10

Just caught up with the latest chapter of RuriDragon. Watching Ruri discover her powers and get to grips with how to control them without harming others was enjoyable. Getting to know her father's backstory and seeing other dragons involved at some point intrigues me more than anything else.

#45: The Good Old Days from Gravity Co., LTD. I had to get one more game in for the year. This was a fun homage to the Goonies movies (and a pretty good sequel to the original Famicom game. It is an exploration-based metroidvania with optional combat that gets better every playthrough.

DOGWALK Review: + A Wholesome experience that lasts around 20 minutes + Exploring the area looking for items is so much fun with the animation of the characters + When the credits rolled, it was really cool to see how much love the devs put into this game 10/10

OMG.. 😳 100 Meters is a phenomenal masterpiece that you have to see. In addition to the brilliant writing and fluid animation, you are able to understand the motivations of each character and what drives them to strive for that elusive 10 seconds of pure joy while running. 10/10
