The idea that we can avoid inflation and higher interest rates if only the Govt pays for things rather than consumers is a bit silly

It will have zero effect because the ETS is a CAP and trade scheme, not a carbon tax Going to start making formal media complaints soon But. more importantly, instead a lobbying for Govt to reduce the cap, people waste their time lobbying for policies that do nothing for total emissions
