Dodgy start, before settling into a good performance in the 1st half. 2nd half not so great. But overall a great result away from home after a tough European game. Team could really do with a free midweek, though.

Well that could have gone better. When we fall apart in Europe, we really fall apart in Europe.

Always good to beat them, regardless of how we do it. Better team overall, but made hard work of the 2nd half. Got there in the end. Night and day compared to how we've been playing for much of the season. More direct, and quicker. Just need to keep it going for now, then reinforce in January.

We're in a bit of a mess, aren't we? Board guilty of gross mismanagement. A squad riddled by injury and mediocrity. A manager who, at best, isn't capable of getting the best from the players he does have available and, at worst, has chucked it. Going nowhere as a club just now.

Dreadful performance. We've scored just 11 goals in 8 league games this season, failing to score in 3 of those and, overall, 6 of our 14 games. A board of incompetents and parasites, a manager who has chucked it, and a squad crammed with way too much dross. Going to be a long season.

Both Rijeka and Zagreb are winning 1-0 at HT. A Rijeka win is enough for us to be seeded in the playoff. Copenhagen are in the driving seat in Denmark. They're 1-0 up at HT, while Midtjylland are 1-1. Won't matter, though, if Rijeka win. Could all change, though. Need Rijeka to see it through.

1. Ferencvaros won the Hungarian league yesterday. If Copenhagen and Dinamo Zagreb win their respective leagues later today we'll be unseeded for the CL playoff UNLESS one of the teams ranked above us is knocked out in QR2 of qualifying. If either fail to win their league, we'll be seeded.

Of course, Rijeka lost their game against Hadjuk Split, meaning the Croatian league goes to the final game next weekend. For Zagreb to win the league they must better Rijeka's result. Even that might not be enough. If they draw, Rijeka lose, and Hadjuk win, Hadjuk would take the title on H2H.

Dinamo Zagreb drew their penultimate league game tonight. It means Rijeka need only one win from their last two games to take the Croatian title. That would ensure that Celtic will be seeded in the CL playoff round.

1. Seeding in the CL. Shakhtar and Salzburg can no longer win their league, so neither will be in the Champions route of qualifying. Olympiakos are also guaranteed a league phase place, as both CL finalists have already qualified for the CL via their league.

1. Update on seeding for the CL playoff. Reminder. If any 5 of Bodo/Glimt, Red Star Belgrade, Shakhtar, Salzburg, Ferencvaros, Copenhagen or Dinamo Zagreb are in the draw for the playoff we'll be unseeded. Both Bodo & Red Star have won their league. If Bodo win the EL they won't have to qualify.

In Croatia, Dinamo Zagreb lost. But so to did the two teams above them. 4pts back with 5 to play. In Austria, Salzburg drew. But they pulled a point back on leaders Sturm Graz, who themselves lost to Austria Vienna. Despite moving to within 4pts of 1st, Salzburg dropped to third behind A. Vienna.

1. Update on CL playoff round seeding. Reminder that we'll be unseeded for the CL playoff round if any 5 teams ranked above us in the coefficient standings are in the draw for it. Bodo/Glimt & Red Star Belgrade have already won their leagues and will feature in qualifying, unless Bodo wins the EL.

1. Euro stuff. Assuming we don't implode and lose all 5 of our remaining league games, we'll enter the champions route of CL qualifying for next season at the playoff round. Win that and we're back in the CL league phase. Lose and we drop to the Europa league phase.

Also, it was incredibly refreshing to be able to watch the game with stadium noise only. Sooner that feature is available as standard on all platforms, the better.

Queen's Park beat new Rangers. Plymouth beat Liverpool. The Eagles completely dismantle the Chiefs in the Superbowl. Yet Craig Gordon saving a couple of penalties is the most jaw dropping sporting surprise of the last few days.

Celtic are favourite. But if we falter, a Scottish Cup win comes with guaranteed european group stage football next season for whoever takes the trophy. Big incentive, given who is left in the tournament. If Celtic win the cup, and finish top 2 in the SPFL, the place goes to 3rd in the league.

Ah, that "transfer window deadline day eve" feeling when you're hoping and praying for a stack of exciting new shiny things but, deep down, know that you're getting a pile of old tat that'll leave you disappointed.

There's a chance of Madrid and Milan derbies in the last 16, and for a Munich/Leverkusen tie as well. Only if we have an off day and get shocked by whichever of Munich/Madrid we face in the knockout, of course.

Sad to see Kyogo go. Scored some brilliant goals and leaves us with a stack of great memories. A tremendous signing, overall. But delighted to have Jota back. We really needed another winger. That it's Jota is about as perfect as it gets. KT and a quality striker and it'll have been a good window.

The new CL format has been brilliant. Going in to the last game with some trying to get a bye to the last 16; others trying to be seeded for the playoff and maybe an easier opponent; others just trying to progress. The table is a stramash. Which is why they'll probably ditch it after a few years.

Well deserved win on what looked to be a horrible pitch. Brilliant to see Kyogo doing what we know he can do. Great balls in from AJ and Engels for his goals.

Shockingly bad performance. Got what we deserved. Hee haw. Incredible that BR could watch that and not make a sub until over an hour had been played.

Disappointing result, given our dominance. Didn't create enough, and wasted the good positions and chances that did come our way. Conditions/injuries/illness didn't help. But still a game we should have won. Squad depth isn't where we need it to be. Hopefully we'll improve that in January.
