I can understand why we would look to guys like Schmeichel, Hatate and Maeda who have won over the course and distance before. But none of them are contributing just now and none of them deserve a starting berth. Last 3 games have been won by Adamu, AOC and Araujo. We need to pick the form players.

I tipped Brentford for relegation at the start of the season. Lost their manager. Replaced him with their set-piece coach. Lost their 2 top scorers in Wissa and Mbuemo and their Captain Norgaard went to Arsenal. What a season they’ve had. Brilliantly run club.

A “Cat-Trick”

Game should have been out of sight by half time. Got bogged down in the second half and struggled. Aided and abetted by the referee. Always good to get an injury time winner when the ref has let the opposition waste time with impunity. Brilliant finish from AOC. Real quality.

Not a great performance. Brilliant goals from Cvancara and Nygren. Araujo is so good. £14m for Engels would be good money but don’t think we can afford to lose a starting player just now. If we do then we need to get more cash from Forest. (Have a feeling Angus Gunn may end up part of any deal)

Great start to the game. Nygren again showing his value. Felt the penalty was harsh but they are almost always given in Europe. Dropped the intensity after that and conceded a slack goal. Should be job done but need to get the next goal to make it comfortable.

Poor performance but a vital 3 points. Impressed with Araujo, looks very accomplished. Nygren is Nygren but his numbers are very good.

Darren Fletcher by far the worst commentator going. Does very little actual commentating. Just constantly giving his unwanted and unneeded opinions.

Some nice goals today and some very good football. Engels goal is something he should be doing a lot more of, especially the way KT loves a cutback. Araujo a bit lucky with that daft challenge Great to keep a clean sheet. A striker and other reinforcements needed for the tougher games ahead.

Last month I was totally against the idea of Kyogo coming back. 0 goals in 30 league games since leaving. Heart says yes, head says no. Having to watch Jonny Kenny again makes me lean towards the Heart! Think we need 2 strikers in so Kyogo as a quick fix plus 1 other I can live with.

In "celebration" of thr Pepto Bismol ad now being on the radio, I took some popular radio-friendly songs and added the "Diarrhea" guy.

Long term Roberto Martinez may be a sensible option as Maloney potentially staying on would offer some continuity but who knows? Wasn’t particularly excited by any of the options mentioned last time round. Was impressed with the Bellamy interview on TV at the weekend but he lacks experience
