Also, this... I've seen loved ones with Shingles. It's miserable. I got the vaccine AS SOON as I was able just to avoid THAT, but if the studies are true about dementia?? That's an added bonus. EITHER WAY, get the vaccine! None of it is fun.

Had a great time talking about Speculative Fiction to the Regional Mensa group this morning. Not only was it good company - thanks to the 18ish folks who showed up at 9:30 on a Saturday morning - but I got this adorable little planter for some poor plant to briefly inhabit.

It's been no secret that I am basically a Pen Dragon. I don't JUST collect... I have a freakin' hoard. @hollyfrey.bsky.social, the SYMHC ballpoint pen and behind the scenes episodes came in the middle of this organization project. Jimmy was a huge help. And this isn't quite all of them (98%-ish).
