Beyond what’s visible to the human eye 👀 Chiral LEDs have a broad spectral range, from what we can see to what we cannot: the near-infrared. That is why they are widely used in applications ranging from medical imaging and remote sensing to display technology.

Creating highly efficient LEDs that emit strong circularly polarised light has been a challenge in #photonics research.
