Our neighborhood is doing a community art project, letting folks paint fence boards they will hang. These are our 4 submissions from family art night. I like how distinct they all turned out.

I enjoyed the little bit of Marathon I played this weekend, but I think at the end of the day I just don't really like extraction shooters as a genre. Arc Raiders, Tarkov, Marathon, Division Dark Zone - all perfectly fine. I appreciate em, but just don't love em.

I'm almost done with Black Myth Wukong. Amazing game, I know I'm over a year late to the party but it's so good. Have had so much fun with it. I enjoyed Astro Bot a lot as well but 20/20 hind sight ... How did that win GOTY over this? No way should Astro have beaten this.

Pluribus is a very interesting concept that is incredibly slow and mildly frustrating.

Just finished Mafia Old Country. It's a little bit repetitive; seems like 1 of 3 kinds of missions at the heart of the gameplay loop ... but I still really enjoyed it. Beautiful set pieces, amazing story, and even if the missions were repetitive they were fun. 8/10 from me.

It's the greatest time of the year, the New Years Twilight Zone Marathon on SyFy. I look more forward to this than I do than the holiday itself.

I will admit I'm not sure how Kansas City actually works. It's a city that spans over a river and is technically in 2 states; Missouri and Kansas? So they are moving to the other side of the river? A couple miles down the road ... But still technically in the same city?

I legitimately don't thinking Mr. Robot gets talked about enough in the best prestige TV conversations. It's top 10 for me. Its not better than Breaking Bad, or Sopranos, or Mad Men ... but it's a colleague of theirs. It's in that same tier.

I taught my 11 year old daughter how to dap, and she won't stop dapping me up. Every time I see her, anything anyone does - all deserves a dap now. I was making soup for dinner. She walked into the kitchen and said, "What's that, soup? Nice." And dapped me up and walked out.

I love when a movie I enjoy gets a prequel, and that prequel gets a prequel, and that prequel gets a prequel series. What the fuck are we doing? Why do I have to keep watching the effect and then the cause? Is linear time going in reverse? Is all IP now Benjamin Button?
