One time, they wanted to make the HR person the Game Design manager cause none of the senior designers wanted to manage us anymore. This was 6 mid level designers and 4 junior designers, being told our managers wanna "focus on design" Just so you have an idea of the insanity we put up with.

That's what happens when you are so threatened by actual talent that you lay them off, and keep only the yes-men and women around.
