I was trying to figure out my new skunk sona, Roman, and was struggling a bit with his face and jaw, so I wound up in jaws studies for abit, mostly without reference. I found a 3-D model of a human jaw which I heavily modified as I drew for the jaw in the top right.

Mice lineup next? This was gonna be another throwaway design but a friend cried blood to convince me to keep it. And he named him Martin #DigitalArt #CharacterDesign #Cartoon

I guess whatever drawabox has taught me combined with my general habits and tools means drawing from 4-8 hours every day is not too big a deal for me? I feel maybe a little soreness but it's going away as I keep working.

Tried doing this with no particular ref. Not entirely satisfied, but it exists.

If ever I start feeling bad for how long a finished sketch is taking, I remind myself that hand drawn animators can only really get 8 - 10 drawings out a day. So if I'm very carefully sketching something for two hours at my current skill level, that is okay.
