I've been eating heartily all weekend but have lost a further 1.5 kgs, since Friday. I have lost 4 stone and 10 pounds, since 16th March.

This is the first time I've gotten a cormorant in flight that wasn't against water or sky. I took this at one of my favorite birding spots. I climbed over a guardrail and hiked down to the shore to get a closer view. The birds don't seem to care that I'm there. #birds #photography #birdsofbluesky

This is something you may see on hot days - this Blue Jay is not injured, it is taking a sunbath. It is done for skin care and grooming and helps with parasites. I always love seeing it because it feels like they have to feel perfectly safe when they do it. #birds
