Valve covers have been painted and cleaning + reassembly has started!

Got the Z’s VG engine as tore down as I’m gonna go for now. Took the valve covers off to give them a nice coat of silver to bring back that oe factory look. After those, reassembly can start!

Rainy day tomorrow, seems like a good time to start the cleaning process and power was this thing outside. 😂

Man it’s been a minute since I spent time in the garage for anything but immediate car repairs. Felt nice to put some time into the Z. Got the engine out and continued tearing it down.

Ngl, been sticking to an actual form of diet and been getting natural workouts in while doing home renovations. Can say I’m happily maintaining a goal weight and happy with how my body looks so far 😅 noticed I’m kinda matching my VRC avi a little xD

I’d say the first round of super drift competition was successful ^_^! The day started IMMEDIATELY with a broken motor, literally not even one lap and the motor shaft snapped. Luckily a good friend let me borrow his spare motor. Honestly don’t expect this outcome but I’m happy nonetheless! :)

Installed a direct drive steering system into the rear motor YD2. Spent a few hours at the track tuning alignment, suspension and servo tune to make it smooooth. Pretty happy with it! The front end is way more responsive! First round of competition next weekend, car is feeling gooood! 😄

Finishing up another commissioned body. This one is a custom mixed color per customer request to match a full size car. Was definitely tough, learned some lessons but turned out great overall.

Another project completed for myself tonight. Lit up last year’s competition body I didn’t use too much. Looks incredible! 😄

Challenged myself to do these Supra taillights as realistic as my current abilities allow, I ended up impressing myself haha. Used some new (to me) Tamiya paints and ended up loving the result of tinting the lexan to resemble colored clear glass/plastic light lenses. :D

The latest bedside paint booth creation. First time trying a full car colos fade and edge fade on the hood. Learned a few things here but overall I’m pretty amped up about this. This one is for me haha.
