It's been a warm, sunny day down here and I spent the afternoon mooching around Moreton-in-Marsh. Difficult to get a decent photo as there's a lot of traffic running right through the middle of the town! Coming home tomorrow xx D

Gloucester Cathedral was, unfortunately, closed this afternoon due to an event taking place there, but I did manage to access the cloisters where there are a number of lovely stained glass windows, and I do love a good cloister! The scale of these medieval buildings is absolutely astonishing.

I spent a very enjoyable few hours yesterday in the pretty Cotswolds villages of Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold - my first time in this area. Luckily, the stormy weather that affected much of the Midlands didn't reach this far south.
