I don't think the issue with K3 replacing certain character models has to do with realism. It has to do with LAZINESS. It's easier to scan a dude in and tweak animations off mo-cap than to rebuild the model from scratch and tweak animations more heavily off a mo-cap of real people. It's lazy.

I keep seeing people say "the likeness actors are so generic/boring". Why? Cuz they have some features that are very.. typically and realistically East Asian? Sure yes, it's boring cuz they're going to crutch on mo-caps instead of pushing animations, and I do think it's LAZY when they scan faces in.

They literally gave me all the Morning Glory stuff I hoped for. Which was more time with his kids and an Ishin Kiwami style set of home minigames. Dreams do come true.
