Alas, I'd forgotten that no matter how beautiful the worlds of Forza Horizon may be, you spent the entire game fixed upon car and road, the scenery being incidental.

Are DJ Atomica-esque radio DJs still a thing to the point that Forza Horizon 6 needs any? Aside from local morning radio They feel like such a relic from the past.

I've mentioned the synergy between the truck sims and the built-in radio before--it's something that rarely comes up in reviews, and because of the fear of copyright strikes, never on streams--but Sledgehammer coming on as I drove into Chicago felt like kismet.

Dental surgery today. The staff are being very accommodating and considerate of my anxiety, but of course, they think I'm merely afraid of dental work as opposed to, you know, *people*.

Gyro steering works surprisingly well. I always hated it on the Wii, but some combo of slower driving and assigning a control to engage/turn off the gyro, allowing for resets, really helps. I mean it's no Moza truck wheel, but I can't use *that* for couch truckin'.
