I have an idea if anyone has yet to do it: as I live in Newfoundland, someone should dig up some old Newfoundland Heralds from my younger years (1980s) and scan them and share them. It was our version of “TV Guide” and unique to our part of North America.

If there ever came a time to choose two movies for a hypothetical Saturday Night at the Movies one-time special, careful consideration would have to be given to pick the two films that would be very special in their own way. Watching SNAM on TVO led me to becoming a TCM viewer.

Things worth thinking: if you were "not mature enough" to watch soap operas and you instead watched game shows on the major networks and syndication, and PBS educational shows (some of whom parodied the soaps, game shows, everything in pop culture), what's something from your childhood you watched?

Thought of a quick idea that could be used later in the upcoming Wheel season if you run into Ryan Seacrest: every once in a blue moon, when calling for the timer to start, have him say "Go" or "Ready... Go" (latter we hear a lot on Pyramid through the decades).
