We finished Silent Hill 2 (Remake)! Absolutely see why this game (the original) has made the impact it has. Incredible stuff. While I cannot compare it to the original game I thought this was simply excellent. The voice acting, the environments, the puzzles. Every cutscene was so impressive.

Thinking about Alice Wake and how through the entirety of the first game we only see her through Alan's narration and in AW2 we only really see her through her own lens (literally), but never the actual real her.

One of my favourite little things in Quantum Break is Beth's complicated relationship with Paul. The fact that her hunting him at the end of time instead of working together shaping him into the man Jack ends up fighting with her, is so intriguing. Love her ambivalent actions.

With every Silent Hill 2 / Alan Wake parallel I learn about, I'm more convinced that Alan and Alice should not have a happy ending with each other.
