Ran into a slight snag with the EPSM stuff that caused me to put it aside. The beautiful connectors from @Time2Retro don't fit. Now Perkka made the EPSM before the connectors were available and the spacing ended up being off. (1/2)

So my Prusa MK3s has served me well for a long time, but it now needs some work on the hotend. So I went ahead and spotted a used Prusa MK4s and so far I'm pretty thrilled. Living on my kitchen counter for now because not sure where to put it.

Ah much better. It's starting to look like a real thing. Now we need some real testing.

Had an outage with the site that's solved now and decided to do some other maintenance stuff while we were at it. Site is back up now.

My good friend @pointerfunction sent some PAL hardware extras he had. I'm just opening it now even though I received it in September. I was in the process of moving and decided this box was already packed so just moved it along. Particularly excited for a PAL NES to test with.

Decided to test the EPSMPlus with the enclosure and stumbled upon some fitment issues.The big problem is the middle channel is too wide due to constraining against the wrong spots. Should be an easy fix. Second is the hole for the audio jack isn't big enough.

Next up planning to go through the ESPM stock and do little fixes. If I remember right most of them has connectors that were too tight. When I was making my own connectors the rule was if it was hard for me to pull the pcb out with my fingers then it was too tight and it went into a pile.

So all those renders were made since July I think. I actually managed to order almost everything a couple months ago. Sadly I seemed to forget the new wireless module (remembered the lid though).

Something I did on a whim. A board to make a NES Game Genie from original parts but fits in the same cut shell as my Extended Famicom Converter and NESTender. Basically made for me to prevent from damaging things like the slotmaster and nintendrawer. (1/2)

Here is a quick render of a Blue Retro Module I'm making with my NES Expansion bridge. This current design is built around the idea of using an off the shelf cheap module but not sure how reliable that will be. Still early stages.

I finally decided to buy a microscope. My eyes just can't inspect small connections very well any more. So far pretty happy with this one.

Have been working hard to get new Muramasa Disk System Cartridges together. Now just have to do adapters of various types.

Another module for the NES Expansion Bridge or NES Hub. This takes just the data recorder functionality from the Family Basic Keyboard and puts it in it's own module. Finally able to record Excite Bike tracks. Will probably be interesting to 7 people. (including myself)

Had an idea to get all the capability I had planned for the Expansion port in one module so this combines my NES Expansion Bridge and the EPSM. I didn't think it would all fit but it does in this odd shape. Not sure this will be more then a one off since the price will be high.

I've been quiet for quiet a while. A combination of moving and health issues have kept me unable to work on much and to be honest I was pretty burned out. I'm finally in the process of trying to restock some things and will be showing off various projects that I have been working on. (1/3)

So at long last we are through the vast majority of orders. We are down to the last 10 or so orders. Should get most of them taken care of tomorrow and resolve some of the issues we have run into. Here is a picture of the pallet the packages came on.

Quick update. Castlemania shells are on the way. I forgot to take a picture so have one of the space the pallets used to be. Today packed 70 orders at that rate I should be caught up sometime Monday.

Alright quick update. Working through Gamecube orders have some with tracking which will get dropped off Saturday. So normally I would insist on shipping out orders from oldest to newest, but the way the factory packed them they didn't include the order numbers on them. (1/3)

So here it is. It's pretty jank but it's getting the job done for me so far. I have ideas to make it better but for now this is it.

Since so many people were interested I took some quick pictures of my dip desoldering tool or 'DeDipper'. It's pretty jank right now but I'll make a short video showing it.

Off to a great start with harvesting chips. I designed a special tool to heat all the joints at once and I'm pretty happy at how well it's working. I'll have to show it off soon.

Quick preview of the NES Hub Disk Adapter. This one doesn't work because of some pinout confusion. I have a new board just need to time to throw it together and test.

So catching up on things. The last version of Opentendo we ordered had a small issue we missed from moving it from Kicad 5 to Kicad 8. The clock schematic symbol changed so it was no longer actually connected. So when the pcb was updated it ended up not connected. Whoops.

Got a nice package from @8bitmods and @Time2Retro. Fresh brand new EXP connectors with covers.

Behold…the #LaserActive PAC-X10! 32X working like a champ through the PAC-S10! This version uses standard 64 pin IDC cables with grounds between each signal, otherwise this doesn’t work! Will need a long patch cable, either via a coupler or have @misirajeduart.bsky.social build you a longer one 😬
