Submitted a series to an exhibition opportunity that was sent my way the past week... I'm so emotional. This specific series has profoundly impacted me personally and professionally over the past few years - truly shaping me as a human being. Never in my wildest dreams did I see all this coming -

Wrapping up an exciting week, what a milestone. I had a wonderful opening night for my first solo exhibition as an artist & got to celebrate with my loved ones. Additionally, I just went live on my website with my variety of limited editions and 3 prints for sale. Grateful for this new chapter!

The past few weeks have been so rich in experiences. Handed in my MA Professional Photography Dissertation and finalised planning my first solo exhibition. Getting to see the work printed and holding it in my hands is an unreal feeling. Blessings everywhere. Happy Monday everyone. #photography

"6318" #personalproject :"It was all there, the red thread throughout the narrative. Leading the way, I followed blindly. Why was I drawn to take these images, the way that I did, the way they spoke to me, why they spoke to me. It was all always there, everything is intertwined and interwoven.

For my long-term project "6318" (2021-) I have been going though old files: doing re-edits of older photographs. Sometimes it just takes time to truly see and understand the red thread in the narrative - as the images fall into place like puzzle pieces. Everything is connecting. Incredible.

big time missing japan 🤍 just got some of my photographs printed last week - seeing them framed and hanging on a wall is a lovely feeling. i was completely fascinated by this 24/7 availability of vending machines and how there was an enormous amount of them everywhere you would turn and look.......

My elderly dad has been visiting the Isle of Iona regualrly for over 50 years (as have I!) - we're currently working together to release a small book of his painting & ink drawings from the island. Images © Leslie Sarjeant.

Just received a beautiful pink flower bouquet delivered to my door. A surprise valentine's gift from my best friend. The flowers are stunning, but the thoughtful gesture itself is what made me burst out in tears in the first place. Had a good little cry. Love is everywhere, and it is so powerful.

This week a lovely man from a local moving company brought me my new dining table and assembled it for me. We picked up the topic of photography as he saw my photographs in my apartment and was curious to hear about my work. He then mentioned something I cannot stop thinking about.
